about a very clever cat ‘Macavity’. Macavity is called a

hidden paw. He is tall and thin. The poet says that

Macavity may be looked careless but he is always wide

awake. Macavity is a perfect criminal. He can break the

law of impunity because he can disappear from the scene

of crime without a trace or print of his paw. The poet

says that he can remove or steel the files and secret

plans from admiralty. The police know that the crime is

committed by Macavity but they can’t prove it and

Macavity easily proves that he was a mile away from the

scene of crime. The poet says there were several cats

around but they are Macavity’s agents and not so clever

I should kill the snake and the later the poet did not kill the snake because he thought the snake was a king of the underworld who has come his guest. Having satisfied its thirst. Snake begun to move slowly and put his head into the dark hole and drew his body behind him then the poet was shocked that the snake was going back into the hole. He picked up a log and threw it at the snake and suddenly snake was disappeared into the hole and poet was filled with a sense of guilty. He wished that snake came again so that he could make amends.
